I haven’t written here since April and I apologise if anyone out there has actually been checking for any updates. Been very busy with other websites I own as well as teaching and gigs.

I have just added two new videos in the YouTube Videos page of my site so be sure to go there and check them out. Please feel free to leave a comment too. Would love to know what you think.

I just finished playing in a production of Little Shop of Horrors for Altona City Theatre. I had a fantastic time with the show and got to play flute, clarinet, bass clarinet and baritone saxophone. I was very fortunate to have my wife join me and play the other reed book. Was really fun working with her.

Other than that I’ve been working a lot on our website business which I am sure I will update further here in the future.

Happy Easter everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday break and enjoying spending some quality time with family and friends. It’s a bit strange for me this year as my mum is away so we’re not having the usual Easter get together. Although my wife and I are spending lots of time together so that’s always good!!

So we’re in the last week or so of April and wanted to have at least post for this month. Might not get around to writing much in May as it’s going to be an extremely busy month. I am playing in 2 different shows, Chicago and Parade. Rehearsals for Chicago start next week and I am looking forward to getting into it. I have been booked for it for ages and am keen to get started. Unfortunately due to my commitment to Chicago I won’t be able to attend many rehearsals for Parade before the dress rehearsals. I’m playing several instruments for both shows and they will be something like piccolo, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone and baritone saxophone. I’m not playing all of those in both shows but will be playing all of them through the month.

Tomorrow is my first Anzac Day parade as a soldier. I will be playing clarinet which could be quite tiring but very good to develop my stamina on the instrument. I am a bit nervous about it all but I will be very proud to represent the Army and particularly the Light Horsemen in public.

Back to school on Thursday as well. I taught a private lesson today and will start more on Thursday as well. Two of my schools don’t start back until May 2 so it will be a quiet short week next week.

Had to pop home to pick up my baritone saxophone for a rehearsal tonight. Looking forward to playing it cos I haven’t played my bari sax for quite a while. Should be a fun rehearsal too!

Nice late start at school tomorrow because of camp and swimming events. I’m really looking forward to holidays starting in just over a week.

I’ve just been booked to play another show. I’ll be playing in Parade for St Michael’s College. The shows will be on at the Atheanuem Theatre in Melbourne. I’ll be playing bass clarinet, clarinet, flute, tenor and soprano saxophone. I believe there will be student’s playing as well which will be interesting. I’m also playing in Nova’s production of Chicago in May so there are a few conflicts with rehearsals and shows.

Must run…..
