Merry Christmas to you all.

This is my first post in a while as well as the first one I am writing using the WordPress app on my iPhone. Pretty cool that I can now do this and hopefully it will mean I will post a bit more regularly.

It’s been a busy year and I’m really glad that I’m on holidays now. I’ve been getting more into the Internet marketing side of things and looking to make that a much bigger part of my income in 2012. I’ve been learning a lot & trying to keep up with all the changes that have been going on online.

I also had my first year at a new school this year. I think it went well. I will be there again next year so it can’t have been all that bad! I recently applied for a couple of new jobs for next year but was not successful so my workload is staying the same at this stage.

It’s also been a busy year for playing. I played with numerous bands and muso’s I hadn’t worked with before. I hope that will continue in the future also.

Will sign off for now. Just out shopping with my wife. It will be our one year wedding anniversary next month which is pretty exciting!!

I haven’t written here since April and I apologise if anyone out there has actually been checking for any updates. Been very busy with other websites I own as well as teaching and gigs.

I have just added two new videos in the YouTube Videos page of my site so be sure to go there and check them out. Please feel free to leave a comment too. Would love to know what you think.

I just finished playing in a production of Little Shop of Horrors for Altona City Theatre. I had a fantastic time with the show and got to play flute, clarinet, bass clarinet and baritone saxophone. I was very fortunate to have my wife join me and play the other reed book. Was really fun working with her.

Other than that I’ve been working a lot on our website business which I am sure I will update further here in the future.

Happy Easter everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday break and enjoying spending some quality time with family and friends. It’s a bit strange for me this year as my mum is away so we’re not having the usual Easter get together. Although my wife and I are spending lots of time together so that’s always good!!

So we’re in the last week or so of April and wanted to have at least post for this month. Might not get around to writing much in May as it’s going to be an extremely busy month. I am playing in 2 different shows, Chicago and Parade. Rehearsals for Chicago start next week and I am looking forward to getting into it. I have been booked for it for ages and am keen to get started. Unfortunately due to my commitment to Chicago I won’t be able to attend many rehearsals for Parade before the dress rehearsals. I’m playing several instruments for both shows and they will be something like piccolo, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone and baritone saxophone. I’m not playing all of those in both shows but will be playing all of them through the month.

Tomorrow is my first Anzac Day parade as a soldier. I will be playing clarinet which could be quite tiring but very good to develop my stamina on the instrument. I am a bit nervous about it all but I will be very proud to represent the Army and particularly the Light Horsemen in public.

Back to school on Thursday as well. I taught a private lesson today and will start more on Thursday as well. Two of my schools don’t start back until May 2 so it will be a quiet short week next week.
